1. Patrick’s Story (New Jersey)

You’re probably already familiar with Patrick’s story.  A young dog  starved to near death (very graphic picture of his skeletal body on his website) and, while still alive, was tied up inside a garbage bag, to be disposed as garbage. Then he was dropped 22 stories down a garbage chute.  A maintenance worker later noticed the moving garbage bag, opened it up, and found a live dog inside.

Patrick was subsequently rescued and is now doing much better, thanks to his rescuers, although his ability to make a full recovery has been compromised by his extreme starvation.

Prosecution

And the person who starved him to a skeleton, tied him inside a garbage bag and threw him down the 22-story garbage chute to be collected by the trashman?

Her name is Kisha Curtis (or sometimes spelled “Keisha Curtis”). Some sources indicate that she was previously a porn operator.

The Charges

According to www.thepetitionsite.com, the dog’s owner, Kisha Curtis, is charged with:

• a Fouth-Degree Criminal Offense- torture and torment of a living creature and is being held in Passaic County Jail on $10,000 bail.

What can you do?

We ask that maximum penalty be imposed on Kisha Curtis and the message be sent to the public that torture and torment of a living creature is a crime, law enforcement takes it seriously, and it will not be tolerated.
